We are a very small kennel committed to bettering the Bullmastiff breed, located in the lower mainland of British Columbia, just one hour outside the city of Vancouver. Our goal is to produce top quality Bullmastiffs with health, intelligence, temperament, and quality for both show and companionship. We are members in good standing with the CKC and the Bullmastiff Fanciers of Canada. Our breeding dogs are health certified with OFA for hips, elbows, and heart, and eyes cleared with CERF. Breeding’s are selected carefully and puppies available occasionally. I started Statham Kennels in 2004. We have owned Bullmastiffs for over 12 years, and I have had dogs my whole life.

We got our first bullie KANGA (above)  when she was 5. She was a fantastic girl and we loved her very much. She was only with us for a short while.

We waited till we bought a home with a larger yard before we got our next bullie. Our next Bullmastiff, Shayla’s Midtown Manhattan, a big brindle girl was a great addition to our home, so we then got another Shayla dog Shayla’s Quiet Jake. Well we didn’t stop there. Manhattan produced a fine litter for Shayla Bullmastiffs and we then got Statham – Shayla’s Vintage Classic our first puppy. ( photo at the top of this page) Statham was a big, bright, and great boy with a great temperment.

After some time, I was very proud to be able to purchase a fantastic girl from Jean Robinson of Leatherneck Bullmastiffs. Now Ch Leatherneck Lady Aslun of Statham or Aslun is a beautiful, smart and energetic girl with an excellent temperament, good bone, type and personality.

All our bullies are raised in and out doors. They sleep inside and have a huge pen as well as yard. Our children are always involved in raising, and training puppies. All our dogs are required to be properly socialized.

We now share our home with Legacy, one of Aslun’s puppies and whom our children adore and help train.
